Pilot Operated Rupture Pin Valve
The Pilot Operated Rupture Pin Valve (PORPT) system combines proven Rupture Pin technology with a double offset butterfly valve to provide reliable pressure relief or shut-in service in a fully mechanical, self-contained package.
The PORPT can be configured to automatically open at a predetermined pressure for relief service, or automatically close for emergency shut-in service. No external electricity is required to activate the valve, and air/gas is only needed to reset it.
